We’re turning 1!
It’s been a month since we first launched our Indian restaurant in West Vancouver. The response from the crowd has been great so far, and we couldn’t be more proud of ourselves. The team at Swad Indian Kitchen worked tirelessly in order for the launch to go by smoothly and successfully, and since then have not stopped so that everything goes as planned. The first month has been great, and we’re excited to see what’s ahead.
While the smells, the spices and the techniques are very much true to their roots, but the taste is a little different – but good. What Swad Indian Kitchen brings to the table is that unique freshness and diversity in our dishes so characteristic of West Vancouver.
Even though we might not offer traditional Indian food in West Vancouver as we know it, our fusion seems to have gone well with our customers. The word of mouth has spread and people are returning for seconds and thirds. So much so that we’ve even had to extend our opening hours to accommodate for the growing demand.
Our food is prepared with a lot of care, and with the objective to enchant those who taste it. We try to give each plate the best, most appetizing appeal so that it looks edible and mouth-watering from the get-go, no matter how different or new it is to you.
Whether it be our Jeera Kebab, Kashmiri Korma or Makhmali, our chefs have created recipes exclusively for Swad Indian Kitchen which we hope you will enjoy. True to their colours, our chefs have made the dishes healthy without forgetting to include the “Swad”, or taste in Hindi. The fusion of our dishes and constant experimentation and innovation is what drives this West Vancouver Indian restaurant to excellence, and seems to be getting a positive response from visitors so far.
